Privacy Policy

Pairdrobe is a puzzle game made by Loose Thread Games LLC (“we”, “us”). The game doesn’t collect any information about you. It has no accounts, ads, purchases, analytics or tracking, and it never contacts us: everything it needs comes with it. If iCloud (on iPhone) or backup (on Android) is on, a copy of your progress is kept in your own iCloud or Google account (see below).

Your progress stays with you

Your progress, Lefty’s look and your settings are saved on your phone, and never sent to us. If iCloud is on for the game, a copy is also kept in your own iCloud account, so your progress follows you to a new iPhone and stays the same across your devices. Apple stores it, and we can’t see it. You can turn this off in your iPhone’s iCloud settings. On Android, if backup is on in your phone’s settings, Android includes your progress in your own Google account’s backup, so it comes back when you reinstall the game or set up a new phone. Google stores it, and we can’t see it. Depending on your phone’s backup settings, they may also be included in your phone’s other backups, kept by Apple, by Google, by your phone’s maker or on your computer. Deleting the game deletes them from your phone, but not from backups already made.

Crash reports and usage statistics

The game doesn’t send crash reports or usage statistics itself. Depending on your iPhone’s analytics-sharing settings, Apple may give us crash reports and usage statistics in an aggregated form, or a form that doesn’t identify you, as described on Apple’s App Analytics & Privacy page. On Android, depending on your phone’s usage and diagnostics settings, Google may likewise give us crash reports and usage statistics through Google Play, in an aggregated form or one that doesn’t identify you.

Emails to us

If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you write. Our email is hosted by Zoho. We use your email only to answer you, and we delete it within 2 years of the conversation ending, unless we need it longer to deal with a legal claim. You can email us at any time to ask us to delete your emails, unless we need to keep them for a legal claim.

Children

Pairdrobe is for a general audience, and the game collects no information from anyone. If we learn that a child under 13 has emailed us, we’ll reply once, then promptly delete the email. Parents can reach us at [email protected].

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top. If the game ever starts using information in a new way, we’ll update this policy and the game’s store listings first, and let you know in the game before it starts.
